Well, don't wait until the last minute or anything. The U.S. Senate finally passed an extension of the federal homebuyer tax credit. The bill now awaits President Obama's approval. If signed (and there's no reason to expect otherwise), the bill will extend the tax credit until September 30th, 2010. As it stands, buyers had to close by Wednesday to qualify. The credit only applies to those homebuyers who entered into their contract by April 30th, 2010.
The homebuyer credit had been tied to an extension of unemployment benefits, causing the bill to stall. Once the Senate agreed to split the bills, the credit passed by a unanimous voice vote.

You have a gift for finding issues important to notaries, and reporting the bullet points so that the heart of the matter is exposed....it's a whole lot better than parsing through cable news for direction on running one's notary business.
Thank you, Brenda. You are too kind.
